Hi, my name is Valen. I was born on Feb. 10th 2004 and I come from Germany.

I started drawing when I was 13 or 14 and like everyone my drawings were really bad xD
The reason my I started drawing is the german YouTuber Drawing Like a Sir. He really inspired me to draw anime characters and I wanted to create my own manga. This didn’t end up good haha

Selling my art allways was a deam of mine. 2022 I was trying to open my Etsy shop and sell stickers and prints. But I kinda forgot about that and ended up don’t doing it. Then in 2023 I created a Fiverr Profile where I take commisions.

In 2020 I went 1 year to a design school where I learned much about design and creating. At this time I took drawing really serious and I learned anatomy. Drawing hands was so frustrating for me (and it kinda still is xD) Currently I work as a media designer where I design packeges for food products.

Why is drawing so important to me?
First of all. I can create everyting I want! Whatever is in my brain, I can draw it. Then, if I’m a fan of something, I am allways so obsessed with it and I have to feed my brain with many stuff about the theme. Drawing a lot of fanarts of it, is a big part of my way of being a fan of something.
A other reason why I love drawing is, that I can make people happy with it. For example, I can give a drawing to my friends and family as a gift for birthday.

My Family and my art
When I was younger, my family allways supported me with my art. They gave my some artsupplise and they drew with me together when I was unmotivted. Asspecially my grandpa did many creativ things with me. My family also allways tolled me, that my drawings are beautiful and I should keep going: I’m really thankfull for that and maby I wouldn’t be at this point where I am right now.

What do I draw with?
I started with a normal peace of paper and a crappy pensil. When I was older I switched to a cheap grafic tablet and Photoshop. Now I use an iPad 8th Gen with a Apple Pen Gen 1. My drawing software is Procreate.
